Episode 244 - The Catstail Marathon with Matthew Kleinknecht

Welcome to episode 244! This week, Tad and I sit down with Matt Kleinknecht, who took on the 2026 Catstail Marathon. Matt takes us through the ups and downs—literally—and gives us a look at what it takes to sign up for and tackle these brutally challenging marathons that push you right to your limits. We also dive into a three-time rescue in the Adirondacks, something about the Catskill 3500 Club patch that you might not have known, and why the infamous Mount Colden Trap Dike continues to be a hotspot for rescues. Make sure to subscribe on your favorite platform, share the show, donate if you feel like it… or just keep tuning in. I'm just grateful you're here. And as always... VOLUNTEER!!!!
